Carolina Trust Board Chairman Honored with The Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award
Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce that Board Chairman, Lieutenant Colonel B. Michael Marlowe USAF Retired has been honored with The Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award.
The Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award is the most prestigious award the FAA issues to pilots certified under Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14CFR) part 61. This award, named after the Wright Brothers, is to recognize individuals who have exhibited exemplary aviation expertise, distinguished professionalism, and steadfast commitment for at least 50 years of piloting experience, or 50 or more years combined experience in both piloting and aircraft operations.
In his flying career of over 50 years, Col. Marlowe has received several awards and held several esteemed positions, including Designated Flight Examiner of the Year, South Carolina Aeronautics Commission Secretary, Chairman of the SCAA Legislature Committee, and was the Horry County Department of Airports General Aviation Manager, where he was recognized in 2003 as the Top General Aviation Airport Manager for the Southeast Region.
Col. Marlowe has been a board member of Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union for 27 years and currently holds the role of Board Chairman.
