Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union Proudly Announces Its Support of the Veterans Welcome Home and Resource Center’s Tiny Home Village
Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union is proud to announce its support of the Veterans Welcome Home and Resource Center’s Tiny Home Village. It is committed to donating Fifteen Thousand Dollars.
The Veterans Welcome Home and Resource Center (VWHRC) opened in May of 2009, based on the founding belief that all Military Veterans have earned recognition, respect, and assistance from the nation they so honorably served. In accordance with its mission, The Veterans Welcome Home and Resource Center has opened its first tiny house village for veterans in our community. The addition of this village will ensure that the veterans in our community have a clean, and safe place to call home.
Carolina Trust’s donation will help with rent, utilities, food purchases, and shelter for veterans in our community. It will also help fund new programs to better serve our Veterans, including the Tiny Home project, which will provide 40 future homes for homeless Veterans.
“With a strong sense of mission, Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union is dedicated to improving the communities it serves and remaining true to its military roots. By contributing to the Veterans Welcome Home and Resource Center’s Tiny Home Village, we will help them in their mission to assist local veterans obtain the resources they need to acclimate back into civilian livelihood,” said Tim Carlisle, Carolina Trust President/CEO.
