Dear Carolina Trust Member,
Beginning Wednesday, March 18th, Carolina Trust will temporarily suspend in-branch services as a precautionary measure to help protect the health of our members and staff. Our drive-thru services will be open during normal business hours at all branches with the exception of our Surfside location, which will be closed and served by the Holmestown Rd and 21st Ave N branches. We are staffing our drive-thru lanes with additional employees to provide the promptest service possible. We will be making exceptions for some services that are not usually offered at the Drive-Thru. For routine account transactions you may normally conduct in our lobbies, please consider our ATMs for cash withdrawals and deposits. This will assist in helping to keep the lines down and moving faster. For any borrowing needs related to credit cards, mortgages, home equity lines of credit and personal or vehicle loans, please apply online.
We also encourage you to take advantage of our E-Z Teller Phone, mobile and online banking services. Typically, these services are considered for convenience, but under current circumstances, banking remotely is a preventative measure. From the comfort of wherever you are, you can transfer funds between your accounts, check balances, verify cleared checks and direct deposits, make a loan payment, pay your bills via online and mobile banking, deposit checks with our mobile banking app and more! Don’t forget about our real-time eAlert options to help you manage and monitor your accounts. These tools empower you to remotely conduct banking and payment transactions quickly, easily and securely.
If you need cash and a Carolina Trust ATM is not nearby, you have surcharge-free access to 30,000 CO-OP Network ATMs nationwide. You may also get cash back at many retailers when paying for purchases.
Currently, if you need to make a Carolina Trust loan payment using another financial institution’s check, we will waive the Check by Phone service fee.
Carolina Trust is actively monitoring the COVID-19 situation and pursuing the preventive measures put in place by the CDC and SC DHEC. We may adapt our plans and hours of operation as unfolding conditions warrant and local and national government officials make recommendations. Our goal is to help slow the spread and minimize the impact this virus may have on our community while continuing to meet your day-to-day banking needs. Please know we will update you via email, our website, and social media in the days ahead as we offer our members recovery assistance and resume normal branch operations.
Thank you.
