The 2020 Annual Meeting for Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union members will be held Thursday, April 23, 2020 at 3:00pm in our Myrtle Beach branch located
at 1010 21st Avenue North.
The Nominating Committee has selected individuals from the Carolina Trust membership as nominees for Board of Director vacancies based on their qualifications and willingness to serve. Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union and HTC, Inc. have partnered to offer scholarship awards to two graduating high school seniors within Horry, Georgetown, Marion, Williamsburg, or the southern part of Florence County. Two
$1,000 scholarships will be awarded to two rising college freshmen attending either Coastal Carolina University or Francis Marion University for their four-year degree. The scholarships may be renewed for three consecutive years in the amount of $500 per year should the award recipients continue to meet qualifying criteria. The total scholarship amount each student may receive over a four-year period is $2,500. All materials must be postmarked by February 28, 2020.
The two scholarship recipients for the 2020-2021 academic year will be announced in May 2020.
Coastal Carolina University Transfer Orientation
Carolina Trust employees had a great time meeting the new students who are transferring in to Coastal Carolina University, at Transfer Orientation Day.
Fred Nesta’s Angel Tree Program
Carolina Trust was proud to partner with Horry County Sheriff’s Office and KingOne Properties International, to assist Fred Nesta’s Angel Tree Program this recent holiday season. As part of our partnership, we accepted gift cards and monetary donations for the program at all of our branches.
Carolina Trust also donated gift cards to the program, which were used to purchase bicycles for 20 children in the Loris Head Start Program. Lunch Balance Pay Off
Carolina Trust was proud to join Bistro 90 in their recent Lunch Program Initiative. Together, we cleared the outstanding lunch balances at Riverside Elementary School and North Myrtle Beach Middle School.
In-School Banking
Carolina Trust representatives will be at River Oaks Elementary School on Wednesday, February 5th from 7:00am-7:30am to collect in-school banking deposits from Carolina Trust Goal Club Account Holders.
