Upon joining the Credit Union, all members - both primary account holders and joint account holders - must deposit $25 each to their basic savings account. This is not a fee but simply the minimum deposit required to keep the account open. There is a one-time $5 membership fee, and it covers both the primary and joint account owner's membership. A Business Member Application and other documents will be required to open a Carolina Trust Business account.

1. Complete the Membership Application, indicate the services you wish to transfer from another financial institution, and complete the Account Closure Authorization form. Depending on what you are transferring, you may need to sign the Direct Deposit Authorization form and/or the Automatic Withdrawal (ACH) Authorization form.
   
   
2. Review the Making the Switch checklist and return the completed forms to your nearest Carolina Trust branch.
